Part-time Human Resources Office Assistant
TOWN OF FRONT ROYAL, VIRGINIA
The Town of Front Royal is seeking candidates for the position of Part-time Office Assistant in the Human Resources Department. This position supports the Human Resources Department in a variety of ways that deliver value to citizens and employees of the Town of Front Royal. Including:
Ensuring that all employee records, including onboarding documents, job descriptions, performance reviews and health records, etc. are verified and properly filed.
Provide clerical support, such as filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping for the department.
Must have proven competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Additionally, must have ability to create and work in databases.
High degree of professional ethics, sense of fairness, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
Experience in an office environment handling confidential information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work professionally, respectfully and effectively as a team and/or individually.
2-5 years of related human resources and office administration experience required.

The successful applicant will be required to take and pass a pre-employment, post-offer physical exam and drug screening paid for by the Town and a comprehensive background check conducted by the Virginia State Police.
Position will work 28 hours per week. Hourly rate begins at $11.78 depending upon qualifications.
